SAN BERNARDINO, Calif- The Sonoma State volleyball team was quickly defeated on Saturday by the No. 1 team in the country, Cal State San Bernardino. The Coyotes won by scores of 30-12, 30-24, 30-26 to improve to 10-0, 2-0 CCAA on the year. The Seawolves fall to 3-7, 0-2 CCAA.
Kristy Sather led the Seawolves with seven kills.
Taylor Manton posted 12 digs and
Lindsay Brown had 15 assists as the Seawolves were out hit .264 to .072.
The Coyotes had three players in double digits, led by Jane Chafeh's 18 kills.
The Seawolves will return home next weekend to host Cal State Dominguez Hills and Notre Dame de Namur.
