Baseball Tastes Defeat For First Time In 2008

Matt Means had another impressive outing for the Seawolves on Friday
TURLOCK, Calif-  The Sonoma State baseball team suffered their first loss of the season on Friday evening, losing in 12 innings to Cal State Stanislaus, 4-3.  The Seawolves go to 6-1 on the season and will host Cal State Stanislaus in a doubleheader tomorrow.

Trailing 3-0 after seven, the Seawolves tied the game up with two runs in the eighth and one in the ninth.  Stanislaus, however, pushed across the winning run in the bottom of the 12th inning.

Matt Means got the start and allowed just two hits and no runs in five innings.  Tyrese McDaniel led the Seawolf offense with three hits.
