Stephanie Luk came up with a big win at No. 1 singles, but it wouldn't be enough as the Sonoma State women's tennis team fell to powerhouse UC San Diego by a final score of 7-2. The Seawolves drop to 2-3, 0-1 CCAA. The Tritons improve to 5-2, 2-1 CCAA.
It was the 43rd consecutive CCAA win for the Tritons.
Luk earned a 6-4, 6-4 win over her opponent at No. 1 singles to pick up SSU's only point in the singles competition. The Seawolves gained another point when
Dana Carollo and
Jeanette Peck were victorious at No. 2 doubles.
The Seawolves continue CCAA play on March 7th at Cal Poly Pomona.
