RICHLAND, Wash- Sonoma State fell to No. 18 Seattle University 7-2 in their first game of the day at the CWU Invitational on Friday. The Seawolves go to 6-7 with the loss.
The Seawolves got out to a 2-0 lead after two innings before the Redhawks caught up, then sped past them.
Megan Ochylski had two hits, including her third home run of the year.
Brittany Williams went the distance, giving up seven runs, though only two of them were earned. The Seawolves committed two errors and they certainly contributed to the Seattle offense.
Sonoma State will face Central Washington later on Friday.
