Women's Tennis Falls To San Jose State, 6-3

ROHNERT PARK, Calif-  San Jose State defeated Sonoma State 6-3 in non-conference women's tennis action on Wednesday afternoon at the Seawolf Tennis Courts in Rohnert Park.  The loss drops the Seawolves to 3-5 on the year while the Spartans improve to 5-5.

SSU was able to pick up one victory in the doubles stage as Mary Bulich and Haley Hickock were victorious at No. 3, 8-4.

In doubles, the Seawolves got scoring contributions from their No. 5 and No. 6 players, Hickock and Jeanette Peck, but the Spartans took spots one through four to clinch the victory.

Sonoma State is back in action on Tuesday when they host Notre Dame de Namur.
