Women's Tennis Edged By Cal State L.A., 5-4

ROHNERT PARK, Calif-  The Sonoma State women's tennis team dropped a heartbreaker on Friday to No. 40 Cal State L.A., 5-4 at the Seawolf Tennis Courts in Rohnert Park.  The Seawolves drop to 4-6, 1-3 while the Golden Eagles improve to 4-2, 2-2 CCAA. 

Sonoma State got off to a solid start, taking two of three doubles matches.  Up 2-1 entering singles, the Seawolves couldn't keep the momentum going.  Competing without their No. 4 singles player, Dana Carollo, the Seawolves dropped four of the six matches.  Haley Hickock (No. 4) and Jeanette Peck (No. 5) were able to pick up wins for SSU.

Ioana Comsa and Krishana DeSilva were victorious at No. 1 and No. 2 singles for Cal State L.A.. 

Next up for the Seawolves is a home match against the University of Portland on April 2nd.
