THOUSAND OAKS, Calif- Sonoma State got out to a 7-1 lead after one quarter and never looked back in an 18-2 water polo win over the University of La Verne on Sunday in Thousand Oaks.
Jenna Bole and
Courtney Rider each recorded hat tricks as the Seawolves set a season-high for goals in a game. The Seawolves improve to 10-8 on the season.
SSU led 7-1 after one quarter, 12-2 at the half, and 16-2 after three quarters. In addition to the hat tricks by Bole and Rider, SSU got multi-goal performances from
Jessica Scott, Sarah Watt,
Samantha Mullins, and
Alexandra Burrows.
