ROHNERT PARK -- Hannah Sourek scored 20 points to lead the Sonoma State women's basketball team to its third straight victory -- and second over San Francisco State in nine days -- with a 70-64 triumph on Sunday afternoon at The Wolves' Den. The Seawolves improved to 2-2 in the CCAA and 4-4 overall. The Gators fell to 0-4 in conference games and 0-8 overall.

The second half saw the Gators chip away at the Seawolf lead and got the deficit down to four points at 43-39 with 15:18 left, but that's as close as the Gators would get.
Tanner Adams sunk a three-pointer with 13:29 remaining to get the lead back to seven.
Sonoma State shot 47.2% from the field to 37.1% for San Francisco State. The points in the paint provide a good idea of how the Seawolves won this contest, outscoring the Gators 38-20. The rebounding category was a 38-38 split and the Seawolves had a 13-11 advantage in assists.
