Madelyn Densberger recorded 15 digs as the 24th-ranked Sonoma State volleyball team steamrolled host Cal State East Bay in three sets (25-20, 25-13, 25-11) on Friday night at Pioneer Gym in Hayward. The Seawolves have won nine consecutive matches, improving to 13-3 overall and 9-1 in the CCAA. The Pioneers fell to 3-16 (1-10 CCAA).
Sonoma was on fire all evening, hitting at a .418 clip while holding CSU East Bay to just .074 on offense.
With her 11 kills tonight, Seitz needs just seven to break SSU's all-time kills record of 1,510.
Sonoma State will take on San Francisco State on Saturday night in San Francisco at 7:00 pm before returning home next Friday to open a four-game homestand.
