SAN MARCOS, Calif. - Sonoma State fell in four sets to Cal State San Marcos Friday night 17-25, 25-14, 22-25, 14-25. The Seawolves are tied for third place in the North Section of the CCAA with a record of 3-3.
Emily Papale (13), 
Rachel Andrews (13), and 
Calan Seitz (10) had top marks in kills against the Cougars. Andrews had .407 hitting percentage on 27 swings, and is now second in the conference for hitting percentage.
Leading the attack from behind the service line, 
Lexi Mudd, 
Courtney Seda, and 
Megan Bohorquez combined for 7 aces on the night. Defensively, Seda led the team with 19 digs, Bohorquez (13) and Mudd (9) also contributed. Seda also tallied 43 assists.
Sonoma lead the game in aces, kills, assists and digs, but the Cal State San Marcos had over twice as many blocks (15), more earned points and were able to capitalize on 31 Seawolf attack errors.
The Seawolves will face the Tritons of UC San Diego, tomorrow night October 8th at 7pm.
