ROHNERT PARK -- The 24th-ranked Sonoma State women's tennis team racked up two more 9-0 victories on Friday, knocking off Notre Dame de Namur in the morning before taking care of Dominican on the back end of a doubleheader at the SSU Tennis Courts in Rohnert Park.
The Seawolves jumped to 14-5 this season.

Katherine Long and 
Karlee Budge captured an 8-0 shutout win at No. 1 followed by another 8-0 victory at No. 2 by 
Hillary Fazekas and 
Mariann Bukich.  NDNU only traveled five players, therefore SSU won No. 3 by default.
In singles, the Seawolves won all but one of their matches by a score of 6-0, 6-0.  Budge got the win in her first collegiate match at the top of the lineup, winning 6-1, 6-0.  Long won her fifth-career match, taking it at No. 2, Fazekas cruised to her 17th win of the year, sweeping at No. 3, Bukich went to 4-0 in dual matches in 2016 with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 4, and 
Julie Rea captured her 10th consecutive singles win, also by way of a 6-0, 6-0 score at No. 5.
#24 Sonoma State, Dominican 0 -- Box ScoreAn hour after their win against the Argonauts, the Seawolves got off to a fast start with convincing wins in doubles play to take a 3-0 lead early.  Long and Rea then clinched the match with easy 6-0, 6-0 wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.
Kaitlyn Haithcock piled it on with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2, then 
Jordyn Kearney (6-3, 6-2) and Budge (6-2, 6-0) turned in a couple of wins to make it 8-0.  Then, at No. 3 singles, 
Amanda Zuidema dispatched her opponent by a score of 6-3, 6-0 to secure the 9-0 victory for SSU.
The Seawolves improved to a perfect 24-0 record over Dominican since 1997.  The Penguins fell to 6-9 this season.
