ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – The Seawolves stomped the Toros Saturday night in the Wolves' Den 65-50. Sonoma State had four players score in double digits and lead for almost the entire game. Cal State Dominguez Hills falls 3-15 in the CCAA and 6-19 overall, while the Sonoma is lifted 8-10 in conference and 12-12 overall.

Jessica Mitz (10),
Madison Burroughs (17), and
Molly Donovan(10) all scored in the double digits for Sonoma.
Taylor Todd was the top rebounder in the game with 8 total, and Donovan followed with six. Gill went 7 for 7 from the charity stripe and had four steals. Burroughs was 7 for 13 from the field and 3 for 4 from the free-throw line. Donovan shot 100 percent on the night; 3 for 3 in the field and 4 for 4 at the line.
As a team, the Seawolves shot 18-19 at the charity stripe and forced 19 turnovers from Dominguez Hills.
Burroughs went 4-5 from the field in the first quarter. The Toros and Seawolves had a couple ties and lead changes until 2:45 on the clock. Donovan made a layup, and two possessions later a jumper that put the Seawolves ahead by five heading into the second quarter.
McKaiela Tyler scored the most points for the Seawolves in the second quarter, including a trey that put the them up by eleven. Sonoma went on a 14-4 run, and with four minutes left in the quarter, had a 15-point lead over Dominguez Hills. The teams entered halftime 33-24.
The third quarter featured both teams scoring 17 points, the most of any quarter for both of them. Burroughs lead the quarter with six points. Mitz followed with five points, two buckets from the field and one behind the arch.
In the fourth quarter, the Toros were held to less than ten points. Sonoma, on the other hand, had every player but one score at least once. The Seawolves cruised into a comfortable win, the Toros never getting within ten points of them.
On Thursday February 23 at 5:30pm, the Seawolves will face the Jacks at Humboldt State.
