Sonoma Earns Doubleheader Split At Home Against Warriors

ROHNERT PARK -- After suffering a 9-5 loss in game one, the Sonoma State softball team rebounded for a 4-1 victory in game two on Friday to take three out of four games from visiting Stanislaus State this week at the Seawolf Softball Field in Rohnert Park.  The Seawolves improve to 8-5 overall and 4-4 in the CCAA.  The Warriors fell to 9-5 (5-3 CCAA).

In Friday's doubleheader, Karly Macadangdang went 3 for 6 with a triple, a home run, an RBI and two runs scored while Jenny Collazo was 3 for 7 with three doubles and an RBI.  Jenn Amaral also had a home run in the game, but of the inside-the-park variety, which occurred in the second inning of game one.

Brielle Vidmar tossed a complete game in game two earning the victory by allowing six hits and one unearned run to improve to 3-1 this season.
