ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – Sonoma State lost their non-conference single game to the Academy of Art University 5-3 Tuesday afternoon at Seawolf Diamond. The Urban Knights improve to 4-9 and the Seawolves fall 6-2.
As a team, Sonoma had three runs on ten hits and three errors. Academy of Art had five runs on seven hits and no errors.
Nathan Mann went 3 for 4 at bats and had two RBI's; he brought in
Patrick Tolbert and
Matthew Richards in the seventh inning. Just earlier that inning Tolbert doubled to left center to get
Isaiah Engman home.
It was the fifth inning that did the Seawolves in, as the Urban Knights scored all five of their runs, as the Seawolve's errors proved costly.
Baseball heads to Turlock March 3rd through the 5th to play Stanislaus State in a four-game series.
