ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – Sonoma State officially swept their series against Cal State San Marcos by winning Sunday 14-1. The Seawolves rise 11-8 overall and 8-7 in CCAA play. The Cougars fall 12-13 overall and 2-11 in conference.
Defense held the Cougars to one run off of six hits from 33 at bats on Sunday.
Aldo Severson picked up his third win of the season (3-1).
The Seawolves combined for an outstanding 17 hits, 14 runs and no errors.
Grant St. Martin tallied his second homer of the series and third of the season, and
Jake Sahagian added another homerun to the game and his second this season.

Rayson Romero, and
Evan Seidell all claimed doubles on the game.
Mitch West was 3 for 5 at-bats with 2 runs and an RBI, and
Rayson Romero was 2 for 3 with one run and one RBI.
Scoring was spread out for the Seawolves. They got up quick in the first inning, scoring 5 runs, including Sahagian's homerun which also scored
Bryce Nagata. In the sixth inning they scored four more runs on two at bats. The first was Richards' double down the left field line which brought home Romero and
Alex Emerick. The second was St. Martin's homer of the day that scored himself and
Jackson Leslie. Sonoma went on to score two more in the seventh inning and three in the eighth.
In this three game series, the Seawolves totaled 32 runs and 45 hits and committed not a single error.
Next for the Seawolves is a doubleheader against San Francisco State University on Wednesday, March 22 in San Francisco at 12:00pm.
