SAN FRANCISCO - The Seawolves and Gators met on Wednesday afternoon for a non-conference doubleheader. San Francisco State won the first game 12-5 and Sonoma State took the second 10-8. The Gators now sit at an overall record of 7-21 and the Seawolves are 13-11. 
Game 1:
The Seawolves had 5 runs on 8 hits and 1 error. 
Joshua Montelongo was 2 for 5 with 2 RBI's and a homerun. 
Bryce Nagata was 3 for 3 with one run, and 
Alex Emerick and 
Noah Lyndall each claimed an RBI. 
Sonoma got up 3-0 in the second inning. 
Noah Lyndall sacrifice flied out to center to bring 
Bryce Nagata home. Emerick then singled to score 
Kory Brown. By the time of the next run, Emerick was on second and Izaiah Engman scored on a Gators' balk. 
However, San Francisco more than made up for the top of the second inning by scoring five times in the bottom and two more times in the third. Sonoma fought back with a RBI homer from Montelongo in the fifth, but it wasn't enough to come back by the ninth. 
Game 2:
Sonoma had 10 runs on 12 hits and one error. Nagata was 2 for 4 with two runs, 
Mitch West was 2 for 5 with one run and two RBI's. 
Grant St. Martin was 1 for 3 but had three RBI's and one run and 
Trevor Abrams was 2 for 3 with two RBI's and a run. 
Mitch Coombs (1-0) picks up his first win and 
Ricky Clark earned his third save of the season. 
After scoring one run in the first, the Seawolves went on a scoring streak. Mann scored on a single by West and a Gator error. Then Abrams, who had advanced to third due to errors, scored on a wild pitch. West then doubled to left center to score 
Rayson Romero and 
Nicco Toni. St. Martin singled to center and Nagata came home. Abrams then went up to bat and singled down the left side and Sahagian and St. Martin both scored on San Francisco State errors. By the end of the top of the inning the score stood 9-2 Sonoma. 
In the fifth inning, Montelongo had a RBI single down the third base line to bring in Romero to set the score 10-2. 
Sonoma stated in the lead from the fourth inning on, but San Francisco would close within 2 by the sixth inning. 
Next for the Seawolves is a three game series at home against Cal State LA starting Saturday at 11:00am.
