ROHNERT PARK, Calif. - Sonoma State won their non-conference match 4-3 against Holy Names University on Tuesday afternoon. The Hawks fall to 13-33 overall and the Seawolves rise 21-18.
The Seawolves had 4 runs on 7 hits and no errors. 
Dylan Hecht (1-1) was the winning peter and 
Mitch Coombs earned his first save. Each team put five pitchers on the mound and each team totaled 146 pitches. 
Sonoma State was active on the bases today, 
Bryce Nagata, 
Noah Lyndall, and 
Jake Sahagian all had stolen bases, and 
Isaiah Engman had two. From the batter's box, Engman and 
Jackson Leslie each hit a double. 
The Hawks got ahead 3-0 in the third inning, but the Seawolves got on the board the very next inning.  
Joshua Montelongo reached second base on an error and the same Hawk's error scored 
Trevor Abrams in the fourth. 
In the fifth inning both 
Kory Brown and Abrams had sacrifice flies that allowed Sonoma to tie up the game. 
It was 
Patrick Tolbert who knocked in the base hit to score Engman in the 6th that settled the score at 4-3. Pitchers 
Kyle Stevenson and 
Mitch Coombs helped hold Holy Names from evening the score.
Sonoma State will host Cal Poly Pomona this weekend for a three game series starting with a Saturday doubleheader at 11:00am.
