SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - With Sunday's 7-4 win against the Coyotes, the Seawolves swept the series. They rise 17-13 overall and 13-11 in conference. CSU San Bernardino falls 9-25 overall and 8-16 in CCAA play.
Michael Byerline was the winning pitcher and his record rises to 1-1.
Jackson Berumen earned his third save of the season by pitching four innings with no earned runs and two strike outs. The pitching staff, including
Aldo Severson, combined for six strike outs.
Grant St. Martin blasted a homer over the center field fence in the fifth inning.
Daniel Caresio was 2 for 4 with two RBI's and one run scored.
Jake Sahagian was 2 for 3 with one run scored.

Trevor Abrams and
Matthew Richards each had successful sacrifice hits and flies.
The Coyotes were up 2-0 in the fourth inning. The first two runs for the Seawolves was walked in, and to finish scoring, Caresio singled through the right side to score both Brown and Sahagian. This put Sonoma ahead 4-2.
Following St. Martin's homer in the fifth, San Bernardino had a double RBI double to get within one of Sonoma at 5-4. But in the top of the seventh, the Seawolves scored two more runs via sacrifice flies by Abrams and Richards to win 7-4.
Sonoma State will face Holy Names University Tuesday afternoon at 2pm at Seawolf Diamond.
