LA JOLLA, Calif. -- The Sonoma State women's basketball team saw its 2017-18 season come to an end Tuesday, losing 69-52 to No. 25 UC San Diego on Tuesday night in the First Round of the CCAA Championship Tournament at RIMAC Arena in La Jolla.
The Seawolves, who entered the contest as the No. 8 seed in the conference tournament, finish with a 12-15 overall record. The top-seeded Tritons (26-3), meanwhile, advance to Friday's semifinal in Pomona against No. 4 seed Chico State.
Ugochi Anudokem led the team in points for the 14th time this season, netting 14 and grabbing a team-high 12 rebounds for her eighth double-double of the year.
Madison Burroughs and
Jessica Mitz wrapped up their careers with double-figures with 10 and 11 points, respectively. Four other SSU seniors competed in their final collegiate game Tuesday --
