Rohnert Park, Ca- Sonoma State got off to a hot start, lost momentum in game two but then rallied to win 3-1 over UC Sna Diego at Home on Thursday night.  Tate Battistini had a great great first set as the Seawolves jumped out to a 1-0 lead before San Diego got going in the second set wining easily 25-14.  Battistina would end up with 14 kills on thenight.

SSU got the momentum back in the 3rd and 4th sets as KIana Richardson began to find her rhythm finishing the night with 14 kiils. The final set was hard fought as the lead changed hands 4 times before the Seawolves pulled away.  Ashlegh Phelps made some key digs for Coach Grassl's squad down the stretch, setting up Jenn Trephan who finished up with 42 assists. 

With the win Sonoma State is now 5-5 in CCAA play and next hosts Cal State San Marcos on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
