On Sunday, November 3, the Sonoma State Seawolves took on Chico State in a pivotal game with conference tournament implications. Sonoma came out early establishing possession and control of the game. Chico was struggling to solve for the Seawolves ball movement but mid way through the first half Chico was able to capitalize on a cross from the width and put in the games first goal.
The Seawolves came out in the second half with even more pressure creating dangerous chances from the first minute all the way to the end of the game.
Sean Rohane had a couple dangerous free kicks to challenge the keeper and
Jose Valencia had a shot in the box as well that was blocked. Sonoma created double digit shots on goal but were just unable to breakthrough.
The Seawolves look to finish the season strong as they face Cal Poly Pomona on Wednesday, November 6, and San Bernardino on November 9, with Senior Day for the Seawolves.
