On Wednesday, November 6, the Seawolves took on Cal Poly Pomona in their final week of CCAA action. Sonoma came out with early pressure and offensive possession and traded early shots with the broncos. The Broncos would strike first to go up 1-0 late in the first half.
The Seawolves came out strong in the second half and were knocking on the door. Late into the 80th minute Sonoma was able to strike back on a long ball into the box from
Devin Anderson that was deflected and finished by
Sebastian Santos. Regulation would end 1-1 and the game was headed to overtime.
About half way through the first over time period Pomona would strike first to end the game 2-1. The Seawolves are back in action for their last CCAA competition as well as senior day against Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday, November 9 at 11:30 AM.
