La Jolla, Ca- Sonoma State only manged to score two points in the second quarter, as UC San Diego's defense led the way to UCSD win on Thursday afternoon.
The Seawolves shot just 23% for the game and hit only 2 three-pointers, as they scored a season low 34 points against the 18th ranked Tritons.
Despite the tough defense
Ugochi Anudokem recorded another double-double scoring 11 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. No other Seawolves were able to score double figures in the game.
The loss drops the SSU record to 7-4 and 3-3 in the CCAA.
