On Thursday December 5th, the Seawolves took on the Cougars of Cal State San Marcos. The Seawolves suffered a tough loss against the Cougars and now fall to 3-5 overall.
Sonoma State was chasing most of the night but was in it the entire game.
Isaac Davidson and
Nick Klarman led the scoring for the Seawolves, both recording double figures. Despite shooting over 50% in the first half from the field as a team, the Seawolves could never grab the lead. San Marcos was able to pull away late in the game making the final score 67-59. The Cougars recorded 38 points in the paint to help secure the victory.
Sonoma State will return to action on Saturday December 7th, as they conclude their Southern California road trip against the Toros of
Cal State Dominguez Hills.
