Rohnert Park, Calif. – Seawolves dropped two to Chico State Saturday evening, game one 8-6 and game two 4-1.
 
Game One: Chico State 8, Sonoma State 6
A high scoring first inning from both dugouts saw the Seawolves up 5-3 early.
 
Sonoma State capitalized on a rough Wildcat first inning, scoring its first run off an error by the second baseman, three walks with the bases loaded, brought around added three to the board for the Seawolves. Jordann White scored off a single by Alee Balanon to help the Seawolves claim a 5-3 advantage over the Wildcats. 
 
Following a quiet second inning, the Wildcats added three to the board in the third and fourth for a 3-point lead over the Seawolves.
 
Lindsey Calcany Blair stepped up the plate and scored the games final run with a bomb over left-center for an 8-6 final.
 
Game Two: Chico State 4, Sonoma State 1
Two home runs and a sacrifice bunt. 
 
Sonoma States lone run in the game came from White in the fourth, a solo shot over the left field fence.
 
The Seawolves held its 1-0 till the last two innings. 
 
The Wildcats hits a homer of their own, scoring three in the sixth and scored again in the seventh with a sac bunt.
