San Francisco, Calif. – Senior forward
Jordan Hickman scored 10 of his season-high 19 points in the second half to lead a Sonoma State rally that fell flat in the closing seconds in a 70-68 loss to San Francisco State.
Despite taking a 37-35 lead after the first have, shooting 40 percent (4-for-10) on three-pointers and 50 percent (14-for-28) overall from the field, the Seawolves lead over the Gators dwindled in the second half, with four lead changes in the second half alone, before falling to 7-14 on the season overall and 5-11 in the CCAA.

Lewayne Grant layup with 5:06 to play pulled Sonoma State ahead by two, 65-63, and
Nick Klarman made it a three-point game with 4:25 left on the clock, 68-65. Before the Gators pulled away, tying the game 68-68 with 3:02 left on the clock, and a jumper for San Francisco State eight seconds left on the clock for the final two-point margin of victory.
Three players reached double figures in scoring as Klarman scored 12 points while hitting five-of-six three-pointers to join Hickman (19 points) and
Isaac Davidson, who added 11 points.
What's Next: The Seawolves are on the road for a midweek competition against Cal State Monterey Bay Thursday for a 7:30 pm tipoff.
