San Bernardino, Calif. – Sonoma State take two over the Coyotes of Cal State San Bernardino Saturday afternoon. The Seawolves won by ten in game one 17-7 and 11-7 in game two.

A hit fest it was. The game totaled 26 hits between the two programs.
The Seawolves opened the doubleheader with three hits in the first, scoring twice. Taking advantage of a passed ball by the catcher
James Harwell scored the games first run, and
Matt Hill scored off a single hit to left center by
Kory Brown (2-0).
In the second both
Bryce Vitt and
Dan Deely scored on an error made by the Coyotes catcher, doubling the Seawolves lead (4-0). Then Harwell scored off a ground out to short hit by Hill (5-0).
Sonoma States bats continued to dominate in the third, with five hits the Seawolves crossed the plate four times.
Kory Brown and
Patrick Tolbert both scored off a fielding error by the left fielder (7-0), Deely was brought in when
Joshua Medina single through the left side and Vitt scored on a fielder's choice (9-0).
Cal State San Bernardino added one of their own in the third (9-1).
Both teams added to the frame in the fourth (10-2), with bases loaded Vitt drew a walk to score Lyndall.
The Seawolves scored twice on wild pitches in the sixth (12-3). Medina crossed the plate when
Jack Pridy line out to center field (13-3) and Lyndall double to left center to score Harwell (14-3).
Two homers by the Coyotes in the sixth and seventh nearly cut the deficit 14-6.
A Cal State San Bernardino error in the eighth and two walks with bases loaded gave the Seawolves its 17-7 edge in game one over the Coyotes.

Robert Town now 3-0 on the season from the mound.
The Coyotes scored first in game two of the day with an RBI double to center.
Sonoma State evened the slate with a solo home run by Brown over right center (1-1).
Cal State answered back in the bottom of the second with a home run of their own (2-1).
Three runs, off three hits in the third gave the Seawolves a 4-2 lead. The Coyotes quick response with a grand slam to regain its lead 6-4.
Another three hit inning for the Seawolves scored four runs to gain a 2-run edge over the Coyotes.
The Coyotes notched a run in the sixth (8-7).
Deely led off the sixth with a solo homer over left center (9-7).
In the seventh, the Seawolves were walked twice with bases loaded to add two more runs to the final tally of 11-7.
