Rohnert Park, Calif. – Seawolves take Friday doubleheader over Stanislaus State 3-1 in extra innings (10) game one and 8-0 in six innings with an in the park home run by
Julie Davis in game two.Â

The Seawolves are now 30-17 overall and 20-14 in the CCAA, with one more doubleheader remaining.
Game One: Sonoma State 3, Stanislaus State 1 (10-innings)
Brielle Vidmar recorded her 17th win of the season, holding the Warriors to one run and striking out four. Â

Two singles in the opening inning gave the Warriors an early 1-0 lead over the Seawolves.

It wasn't till the sixth that Sonoma State evened the score 1-1 off three hits. Starting with a single by
Julie Davis down the left field line, a sacrifice bunt by
Cameron Kirtlan advance Davis to second, and a stolen base found Davis on third.
Jordann White brought Davis across the plate with a single to center.Â

After neither team could scratch a run in regulation the game went into extra innings, the Seawolves third extra-inning game of the season.

In the bottom of the tenth, knotted up, Davis put down a bunt for a hit, and Kirtlan moved her over into scoring position with a sacrifice bunt. With one out and a runner on
Jordyn Martinez knocked her eleventh home run of the season for the win.Â

Martinez now solely holds the most home runs of the conference.Â

Game Two: Sonoma State 3, Stanislaus State 1 (6-innings)
In the Seawolves sixth run-rule win of the season,
Teresa Danenberg tossed a shutout performance from the circle, holding the Warriors scoreless through six innings, Danenberg's second shutout of the season.Â

Davis and Kirtlan both had quite the game at the plate, Davis went 2-for-3, scoring three times, with 2 RBIs and while Kirtlan 3-for-3 scoring twice with one RBI.

Sonoma State scored its first run of the game in the first inning when Kirtlan and Davis took advantage of a first and third double steal to help Davis cross the plate.

In the third Davis doubled down the left field line, and Kirtlan knocked a triple to bring her home (2-0), Kirtlan then scored off a wild pitch (3-0).

With two down in the fifth Kirtlan singled to right field and stole second to place herself in scoring position. Martinez singled, she advanced to second on a Warrior error, and Kirtlan scored (4-0).
Jordann White traded places with Martinez with a double down the right-field line (5-0).

Nicole Renner doubled down the left field line to lead off the sixth inning,
Courtney Jack then put down a squeeze bunt to score Renner (6-0). Balanon reached on a fielder choice while Jack was thrown out at second. With two outs and a runner on Davis hit an inside the park two-run homer for the 8-0 walk-off win over the Warriors.
