San Marcos, Calif. – The Seawolves split day two with Cal State San Marcos winning game one 8-1 and falling 1-0 in extra innings in game two, snapping its 14 game winning streak. Sonoma State tallied 18-hits the series final two games.
 
Martinez added her fourth homer of the series, now with the second most home runs in the conference with seven, one behind teammate 
Jordann White who has eight. 
 
The Seawolves are now 24-10 overall and 14-7 in the CCAA.
 
Sonoma State 8, Cal State San Marcos 1
Sonoma State allowed the Cougars to score in the first off an infielders error but held them scoreless in the remaining six innings.
 
With one out 
Cassidy Romano doubled down the left field line, with the table set 
Nicole Renner singled up the middle to score Romano to tie the game 1-1.
 
White led off the fourth with a single through the left side, and Romano singled up the middle to advance White to third. 
Lindsey Calcany Blair doubled down the left field line to clear the bases and give the Seawolves a 3-1 edge. Renner then singled down the line to put runners on first and third, Renner drew a throw in a first and third play to allow Calcany Blair to score before getting caught stealing at second for a 4-1 lead after three and a half. 
 
After fighting off several pitches, going deep in the count 
Julie Davis singled to third. With two down Martinez knocked her seventh homer of the season to left center to score herself and Davis (6-1).
 
Sonoma State capitalized on two Cougar errors, and two hits in the final inning to add a pair of runs to secure its 8-1 victory.

Davis and Renner both with three hits apiece accounted for all of the Seawolves runs in game two. 
 
The Seawolves outhit the Cougars 6 to 4 but left seven runners on the base paths. 
 
Freshman 
Camille Rodriguez got the ball in game two where she held the Cougars to four hits with six strikes outs allowing one run in the top of the eighth when Cal State San Marcos knocked a walk-off double to left center.
