Turlock, Ca- It was a great bounce back win for the Seawolves Volleyball Team after dropping a tough 5 set match earlier in the day to Northwest Nazarene State.
Led by
Jenn Trephan with 9 kills and 21 assists, Coach
Bear Grassl's squad defeated Western Oregon 3-0.
"NNU is a solid team and we just could keep enough serving pressure on them to hold them at bay, but we did much better against Western Oregon," Grassl exclaimed. "Our passing game was better and we were very efficient in attacking."
Efficient indeed as the Seawolves hit an amazing .462 for the match, led by Trephan who converted on 9 of 12 attempts.
Bailey Palestini added 8 kills, while
Adriana Baysinger had 3 Blocks.
Next up, the Seawolves battle Holy Names at noon, on Friday the 13th, again in Turlock.
