Turlock, Ca. - A hard fought battle ended in a 1-0 loss to NAIA Southern Oregon for the SSU Women's Soccer team on Saturday afternoon. Aislyn Waite scored the games only goal on a penalty kick in the 84th minute. The Seawolves out shot the Raiders 32-4 but Southern Oregon Keeper Jessie Selby made 14 saves to keep the shutout in place.
The Seawolves record is now 1-1 after the two day Warrior Challenge hosted by Stanislaus State. The Warriors won the tournament with a 2-0 record on their home turf.

The Seawolves head to the Pacific Northwest, Thursday to take on Western Washington and then Saturday they play at Seattle Pacific.
