Honolulu, Hi- The Seawolves had quite a Saturday afternoon in the Aloha State winning 6 straight sets, sweeping both matches and ending the visit to the islands with a 3-1 record.
After the 3-0 win over in the first match of the day over Hawaii Hilo, SSU took on Hawaii Pacific and again swept the match.
Caiti Weisner led the way for SSU notching 12 kills, while
Jenn Trenhan had 20 assists and 9 digs. As a team they finished the match with a hitting percentage of 32% led by
Kiana Richardson who hit .500 and finished with 9 kills.
All-in-all a great showing for the Seawolves and now they return to Rohnert Park and get ready for the first home match of the season vs Dominican on Tuesday night.
Hopefully coach Grassl granted the team a little well earned beach time before the sun set in Honolulu.
