Rohnert Park, CA-  It was a hard fought battle to the end and it took an extra period to decide but in the end Cal State LA won it 86-79 at the Wolves Den.

The Seawolves held a 10 point in the first half but the Golden Eagles came back strong to lead it by one at the half.

Down the stretch it was a back-and-forth  battle.  Down by 2 with 2:45 to go Eric Nielsen scored inside to tie it up.  CSLA re-took the lead moments latter.  Then Isaac Davidson hit a layup to give Sonoma State another lead with just under 2:00 to play.

The Golden Eagles scored a minute later to tie it up at 70 all.  Each team would have one more shot to win it in regulation but both missed and on to the extra period it went.

In overtime Cal State LA hit back to back threes and never gave up the lead from there.

Kenny Olsem scored four in the Ot and Nick Klarman hit a clutch three to keep the Seawolves close but it wasn't enough for Sonoma State.

Isaac Davidson led the team with 17 points.  Eric Nielsen had a big night with 12 coming off the bench.  Six SSU players collected double figures in scoring on the night.

The final regular season game is Saturday at 3:00 vs Cal State Dominguez Hills and we will be honoring our Seniors.
