Rohnert Park, CA - On Saturday afternoon the men's basketball team of Sonoma State concluded their home doubleheader on Pack The Den Night at SSU with a great team win over bay area rivals SF State. The Seawolves were on a serious losing skid and with injuries to key starters along the way, they were looking for a win and a struggling Gators team in SF State was a great opportunity at home. The Seawolves pulled off a Quality victory 78-69 with 4 of 5 starters scoring in double figures in the game. 

Shooting guard Nick Klarman lead the Seawolves with 23 points on the game and 10 boards recording a double double. He also drilled 6 3-point shots during the game and shot over 50% from the field on the night. Another big performer for the Seawolves was center Wesley Gilbert who scored 20 points on 8-14 shooting. His 20 points included 3 massive dunks and an alley-oop from senior Isaac Davidson to ignite the home crowd! Tej Johnson also finished with 7 points off the bench and was +11 when he was on the floor. 

The Seawolves lead most of the game and always had an answer for the Gators responses. Sonoma;'s biggest lead was 11 on the night and clutch free throw shooting from Nick Klarman and Wesley Gilbert helped put the game out of reach and secure the win for the Seawolves. 

They return home next weekend against Stanislaus State and Humboldt State in another very winnable weekend for the Seawolves as coach J.J. Santa Crux and his group look to cap off the season on a strong note! Go Seawolves!
