Biography

2019 SEASON: After suffering a season ending injury before his first full season as a seawolf, Mattia came back and played in 15 games for the Seawolves making 5 starts. He recorded 1 goal and 2 assists on 21 total shots. Mattia was always a threat off the bench as a winger/forward for Sonoma late in games during his 2019 campaign. 

2018 SEASON: DNP

HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to Sonoma State from Silver Creek High School. After High School Mattia attended De Anza Community College and now joins us here at Sonoma State. There, he earned First Team All Conference, First Team All State, First Team All Region, Second Team All- American, and De Anza Men’s Soccer Player of the Year.

PERSONAL: Mattia is a Kinesiology Major who hopes to become a professional soccer player, or a pediatrician.
