Sonoma State University Athletics

2010:  Ran in all nine Sonoma State races as a sophomore...was the top SSU finisher in three races, including the USF Invite (9/4/10), Hornet Jamboree (9/11/10) and the SFSU Invite (10/8/10)...had a season's-best third place finish overall at the SSU Invite (10/2/10) with a time of 18:58 in the three-mile race...came in 61st place at the CCAA Championship meet in Pomona (11/6/10)...finished 124th at the NCAA West Regional in Bellingham, Wash. (11/20/10).

• Top 6k:  23:52 (SFSU Invitational)

2009:  Was the top Sonoma State finisher in four of the eight meets she competed in…best overall finish of the season was a second place mark at the CSUMB Invite (9/5/10) with a three-mile time of 17:34…finished third overall at the Stanislaus Invite (23:29 in the 6k – 9/26/10)…finished 48th and 60th overall in the CCAA Championship and the NCAA Regional meet, respectively…named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team.

• Top 6k: 22:55.4 (Sundodger Invitational)

HIGH SCHOOL: Is a graduate of Newark Memorial High School in Newark...was a five-time team MVP at Newark Memorial -- three times in cross country and twice in track & field...was named her track team’s Rookie of the Year as a freshman...holds Newark Memorial’s school record in the two-mile...named Athlete of the Year as a senior.

PERSONAL: Decided on Sonoma because she fell in love with the school, especially the student housing...her best sports-related memory were “carb-parties” at The Olive Garden with her high school teammates...enjoys author Nicholas Sparks and lists The Notebook as her favorite movie.
