Biography

2010:  Competed in all nine races for Sonoma State as a junior...had a career-best second place finish at the SSU Invite (10/2/10) with a time of 18:54...scored her best 5k time (19:14) at the Santa Clara Invite (10/16/10)...placed 79th at the CCAA Championship in Pomona (11/6/10) and 104th at the NCAA West Regional in Bellingham, Wash. (11/20/10)...named to the CCAA All-Academic team.

• Top 6k:  23:31 (CCAA Preview Meet)

2009: Ran in all eight meets for the Seawolves…finished a season-high 16th place after a 25:33 mark in the Stanislaus 6k Invite…was the team’s second place finisher at the NCAA Regional meet with a 24:12.2 mark (11/7/10)…named CCAA All-Academic.

• Top 6k: 24:12.2 (NCAA Regionals)

2008: One of just four runners to compete in all eight meets...her highest finish on the team was fourth, at the SFSU Invitational, where she ran a seasonal best in the 6k (25:47)...placed 79th at the CCAA Championships...was 10th overall at the SSU Two-Miler, finishing the course in 11:49.

• Top 6k: 25:47 (SFSU Invitational)

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended North Tahoe High School...earned the Presidential Award.

PERSONAL: Came to Sonoma State because of the location, the people and the cross country team...lived in Africa for three years...wants to be a physical therapist after graduation...considers her Dad to be her biggest influence as an athlete...her favorite food is tacos...a fan of the Sacramento Kings and musician Jack Johnson…likes to watch the TV show Chopped...would most like to meet President Barack Obama...most memorable sports moment was when she and the SSU team ran in the snow at the NCAA West Regionals in Washington last season.
