Biography
2010: Ran in two races for Sonoma State as a freshman...finished 23rd at the SSU Invite (10/2/10) with a time of 21:15...also competed in the Mills Invite (9/18/10) and finished with a time of 23:08 (53rd place)...named to the CCAA All-Academic team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from El Molino High School in Forestville…earned the DAR Citizenship award, Press Democrat Community Service Award and the Principal’s Award for service to the school community...earned the El Molino Citizen of the Month in June of 2009…served as the swim team captain and the dance team choreographer…also played varsity soccer for three years, earning the "Heart of a Lion" award for soccer and swim, also competed in basketball and track.
PERSONAL: Chose Sonoma State for its great communications program and its location to many outdoor activities…a fan of Johan Cruyff…enjoys to watch the TV show So You Think You Can Dance and loves to eat sushi…listens to the music of Zion I, Atmosphere and Blue Scholars...reads the Harry Potter books...favorite movie is Toy Story because she "really likes Buzz Lightyear!"...favorite color is orange...loves to dance to Hip Hop music and make up team cheers...wants to travel the world after college.
