FRESHMAN (2011-12):  Playing in 16 games in her freshmen season, Sanchez was a surprising development from beyond the arc … shot .388 from three-point land, including a 3-for-3 night against William Jessup (12/29/11) … averaged 4.1 points per game … dropped a career-high 11 points, twice (12/9/11 vs. Seattle Pacific, 12/29/11 vs. William Jessup).

HIGH SCHOOL:  Is a 2011 graduate of Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose ... received her team's Coaches' Award ... named to the All-Tournament Team at the End of the Trail Tournament ... helped lead her team to a CCS championship.

PERSONAL:  Loved the beauty of the campus and the opportunity to play college basketball at Sonoma State … wants to become a lawyer after graduating … likes the Brazilian National Soccer Team and Michael Jordan … likes to eat enchiladas and pizza … enjoys dogs and horses … her most memorable sports moment was when she made her first three-pointer in her college career (in her collegiate debut at Cal State East Bay on 12/2/11) … hopes that her team will produce a better record than last season … as a pre-game routine, she re-reads the scouting report while listening to music that pumps her up.
