Biography
2008: Made her mark with a nice junior season with the Seawolves...batted .309 on her way to Second Team All-CCAA honors...led the team in batting average, hits (43), and triples (2)...also tied for the team lead with 16 runs batted in...had a .415 on base percentage and was perfect defensively in 137 chances...started 50 games and appeared in all 52...went 3-for-4 with two runs and her first home run against Northwest Nazarene (3/1/08)...picked up her first SSU hit in a win over Cal State Monterey Bay (2/2/08)...had two or more hits in a game eight times...never went more than two games without a hit.
HIGH SCHOOL/JC: Transferred to Sonoma State from Arizona Western College...also attended Palomar JC, where she was named First Team All-Pacific Coast Conference and Utility Player of the Year...led her squad to the PCC Championship...guided her Southwest High School squad to four consecutive Imperial Valley League championships...went to the CIF championship as a freshman and junior...named Team MVP in 2004 and Defensive Player of the Year in 2005...two-year team captain.
PERSONAL: Says her dad and brother are her biggest athletic influences...is a big fan of LaDainian Tomlinson and the San Diego Chargers...enjoys shopping in her free time...enjoys country and hip hop music...likes to eat mexican food and her mom’s lasagna.
