Biography

2007: Bailey has exhausted just about all the superlatives in his tremendous Sonoma State career...last season he broke the school’s all-time goal scoring mark (44) on his way to NSCAA First Team All-American honors...was also named Daktronics West Region Player of the Year and CCAA Player of the Year for the second straight year...was a First Team All-CCAA pick and earned ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VIII honors again as well...named Brine CCAA Player of the Week for September 24th through 30th...led the CCAA with 18 goals and 42 points...his goal and points totals ranked third in single-season school history...recorded seven game-winning goals, one off the school record...needs eight points to become school’s all-time leader...has scored three goals in post-season play, the third-best total in SSU history...owns the school’s sophomore and junior scoring records...his 93 shots in 2007 are a school record...tallied two hat tricks, one against Western Washington (9/1/07) and another against Cal State San Bernardino (9/30/07)...scored the game-winner in SSU’s CCAA semifinal victory over Cal State L.A. (11/2/07)...had a goal in the Seawolves’ 2-0 win over No. 6 Cal State Dominguez Hills (10/5/07)...scored two goals in routs over Cal State Monterey Bay (10/19/07) and Notre Dame de Namur (10/24/07)...named All-Tournament at the Seawolf Classic...12 of his 18 goals came on the road...appeared in 25 games with 22 starts.

2006: Turned in one of the finest seasons in school history...named NSCAA Third Team All-American, Daktronics West Region Player of the Year, and CCAA Player of the Year...also picked up First Team All-CCAA honors and First Team All-West Region nods from Daktronics and the NSCAA...named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VIII team...named Brine CCAA Player of the Week (Sep. 11-17)...led SSU, and was 2nd in the CCAA, with 13 goals...his 13 goals ranked 7th in single-season school history...broke SSU’s sophomore goal-scoring record...scored three game-winning goals...netted game-winner with just 19 seconds left in double overtime to beat Humboldt State (10/4/06)...scored just 46 seconds into SSU’s 1-0 win over Cal State Bakersfield (9/8/06)...had two goals in a 6-2 win over CSU Monterey Bay (9/17/06) and two more in a 9-1 win over CSUMB three weeks later (10/6/06)...scored two goals in 3-0 win over CSU San Bernardino (10/13/06).

2005: Saw season halted after three games due to an injury...earned medical redshirt. 

2004: Enjoyed a tremendous freshman campaign...led Seawolves in scoring with 13 goals and 29 points...named First Team All-CCAA and Second Team All-Far West Region...named Brine CCAA Player of the Week (Oct. 18-24)...broke SSU freshman record for goals and points in a season (surpassed in 2005 by Nathan Medina)...seventh all-time in single-season goal scoring...honored as SSU’s Freshman Student-Athlete of the Year...scored eight goals in SSU’s final seven games...scored two goals in a game three times...scored first collegiate goal in first game, a 7-1 win over Missouri-St. Louis (8/29/04)...scored five game-winning goals...tied for third in the CCAA in goals and points...had two goals and an assist in win over Cal State Monterey Bay (10/20/04)...scored a goal just 13 seconds into CSUMB game (10/20/04)...appeared in all 21 games with 11 starts. 

High School:  Attended Davis High School...was a Second Team All-City selection for the Blue Devils...helped lead Davis High to Sac Joaquin Section Championship in 2000. 

Personal:  Favorite sports team is the Chicago Cubs...biggest influence as an athlete is his dad, who taught him how to play and inspired him to do his best...lists The Usual Suspects as his favorite movie and The Office as his favorite television show...a communications major, he aspires to be a sports journalist...born 5/1/85.
