Biography
JUNIOR (2014): Appeared in 52 games and started 46 of them...was named to National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division ll All-West Team... tied for fourth-best batting average on the team (.333)...led the Seawolves with six triples on the year...led the Seawolves and CCAAÂ in stolen bases with 33 in 37 atttempts...was second on the team with 17 multi-hit games.
SOPHOMORE (2013):Â Played and started in all 58 of Sonoma State's games as a sophomore in 2013 ... recorded the third-best batting average on the team (.352) and had the second-most hits (70) ... was six stolen bases short (39) of breaking the program record for most in a single-season (44) and was 39 for 49 in stolen base attempts, which led the team ... was named the CCAA and NFCA Division II Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 25-Mar. 3 after going 13 for 22 (.591) with two triples, three RBI, six runs scored and delivering the game-winning hit in the ninth inning against Cal State East Bay (3/2/13), along with eight stolen bases in nine attempts ... First Team All-CCAA performer.
FRESHMAN (2012):Â Enjoyed an outstanding first collegiate season in 2012 ... was the team's second-leading hitter with a .335 batting average (56-167) with nine doubles, 14 RBI and a team-high 37 runs scored in 48 games played ... led the team with 21 stolen bases in 24 attempts ... swiped a career-high three bases against San Francisco State (4/20/12) ... recorded a team-best 17 multiple-hit games ... started as the team's leadoff hitter in 37 of the 48 games she started in; the team went 26-11 with her batting first ... played all 48 games at short stop, eight defensive errors in 147 chances (a .946 fielding percentage).
HIGH SCHOOL:Â Prepped at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, Calif. ... was part of the Divison I Sunset League championship team in 2009 ... was on the Honor Roll for two years, honored as a Scholar-Athlete and earned a Scholarship Award in algebra (2008) and geometry (2009).
PERSONAL: Chose Sonoma State because of the small feel of the campus, as well as the atmosphere and liveliness that the coaches and players bring to the softball program ... biggest influence as an athlete is Natalie Buchoz ... would like to get into the media business with something revolving around sports upon graduation... likes to watch the movie Transformers ... her favorite food is cookie butter ... memorable sports moment is being named NFCA Div. II National Player of the Week last season (2013) ...she never warms up with her jersey on and always has a smoothie before games
