Sonoma State University Athletics

2007:  Had a brilliant debut season in a Seawolf uniform...named First Team All-CCAA and AVCA All-Pacific Region Honorable Mention...also picked up CCAA Newcomer of the Year and SSU Female Newcomer of the Year honors...led the Seawolves with 373 kills, an average of 3.85 per game...her kill total is the seventh-best season total in school history...ranked fourth in the CCAA in kills...had a stretch of five straight matches with at least 20 kills late in the season...had a career-high 27 kills in a win over Cal State Monterey Bay (10/24/07)...her 1,083 total attempts rank eighth in school history and her 373 kills rank third among juniors in school history...went for 22 kills in back-to-back nights, an impressive weekend sweep of Chico State (11/2/07) and Cal State Stanislaus (11/9/07)...had double digit kills in 23 of the 25 matches she appeared in...had a season-high 17 digs in her first match, against Seattle (8/26/07)...blocked seven Cal State L.A. attempts for a season-high (10/5/07)...along with teammate Taylor Manton, she became SSU’s first First Team All-CCAA pick since 2004...rounded out her year with 18 service aces, 184 digs, and 46 blocks...named CCAA All-Academic.

High School/College:  Returns to Sonoma County to finish her playing career and earn her Master’s Degree...graduated from the University of Arizona...also attended UC Santa Barbara, where she competed on the volleyball team...was a three-year team MVP at Maria Carrillo High School in Santa Rosa...named the All-Empire Athlete of the Year...one of the top ranked players in the area coming out of high school...earned Dean’s List honors three times in college...named a Scholar-Athlete during her freshman season at UC Santa Barbara. 

Personal:  Is earning her Master’s Degree in Education at SSU...is currently a first grade teacher at Spring Creek Elementary School...recruited by some of the top schools in the nation including UCLA, Arizona State, Pepperdine, and Oregon, before settling on UCSB...her sister, Kaitlin, is a star at UCLA...is a big fan of the Golden State Warriors...likes the movie Old School and the television show, The Office.
