Sonoma State University Athletics

2010:  Had another outstanding season for Sonoma State...earned an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American Honorable Mention nod...added AVCA All-West Region honors and a CCAA All-Conference Second Team award...selected to the CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-District Team and the CCAA All-Academic Team for sporting a 4.0 grade point average...recorded double-digit kills in 19 matches, including a consecutive streak of 12 matches...finished sixth in the CCAA with 3.35 kills per set (308 total kills)...notched a double-double in six matches...smashed a season-high 20 kills in a 3-1 win over BYU-Hawaii (9/3/10)...had 198 digs in 92 sets played (2.15/set)...served 22 aces.

2009:  Made an immediate impact in her first season with the Seawolves and was named to the AVCA All-American Third Team…was also selected to the AVCA All-Region team as well as the CCAA All-Conference First Team…ranked 11th nationally and third in the CCAA in kills per set with a 4.18 mark…smashed 401 kills, breaking the single-season record for most kills by a SSU sophomore (previously 346 by Christine Shiba in 2001)…led the team with 13 double-doubles…had the second most kills on the team…had double-digit kills in 23 of SSU’s 31 matches…hammered a career-high 25 kills in a sweep of Cal State East Bay (10/9/09) while hitting at a career-best .500 clip (25k-3e-44a)…served up a season-high five aces in a sweep over San Francisco State (10/24/09)…named CCAA All-Academic.

HIGH SCHOOL/COLLEGE:  Transfers to Sonoma State after a stellar freshman season at UC Davis in 2008...named to the Big West All-Freshman team...ranked second on the Aggies with 181 kills (2.49 k/g)...is a 2008 graduate of Analy High School in Sebastopol...was named the Empire Volleyball Athlete of the Year as a senior...earned First Team All-Conference honors three times and was a First Team All-Empire selection as well.

PERSONAL:  Decided to come back to Sonoma County because of the volleyball program at SSU and the great location...enjoys listening to Jurassic 5...favorite author is Roald Dahl...likes to eat Indian food and Pho...is a fan of the San Francisco Giants.
