Sonoma State University Athletics

2010:  Picked up Honorable Mention All-CCAA honors after a very strong junior season...in addition to being a crucial member of the defense, he scored three goals and three assists to rank fourth on the team in scoring...started 19 games and appeared in one other as a reserve...his first collegiate goal would turn out to be the game-winner in a 3-1 victory over No. 10 Cal State San Bernardino (9/12/10)...also had an assist in the win over the Coyotes (9/12/10)...participated in seven team shutouts.

2009:  Recognized as a solid member of the defense during his sophomore season... the only player on the team to start all 23 games, he was rarely removed from the action...assisted on two goals, including one in the Seawolves’ season-opening 2-1 victory at Western Washington (8/29/09)...also had an assist on the goal that brought Sonoma even in an eventual 2-1 victory over UC San Diego (10/2/09)...played a key role in the Seawolves’ eight shutouts.

2008: Saw action in 16 games during a promising freshman campaign...started twice...assisted on a goal in Sonoma’s 6-0 in over Cal State Monterey Bay (10/24/08) for his first collegiate point...the Seawolves outscored their opponents 54-12 in games Lombardi appeared in.

HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to Sonoma State from San Dieguito Academy...redshirted for the Seawolves in 2007.

PERSONAL: Picked Sonoma State because of the soccer program and the wine business program...is a fan of AC Milan and Brazilian star Daniel Alves...his biggest sports thrill to date was going to the World Cup in Korea with his soccer team...enjoys the music of Hot Chip.
