Travis Babin returns to Sonoma State for his second year on the coaching staff in 2014.  Babin played three years for the Seawolves, from 2006 to 2008 as an third baseman and pitcher.  His finest season at Sonoma was 2008, when he helped lead the Seawolves to the College World Series by hitting .329 and going 4-0 on the mound.  

Following the 2008 season, Babin was drafted in the 16th round by the New York Mets.  He pitched in the Mets’ farm system for two seasons.
