2011: Made nine appearances for the west region champion Seawolves...struck out nine and recorded one save to go along with a solid 3.24 ERA...pitched an inning and a third in the College World Series...threw four shutout innings, allowing just three hits against Chico State (5/7/11).
2010: Saw action in seven games...picked up his first collegiate win in his first outing, against Cal State Monterey Bay (2/5/10)...struck out ten in 12.2 innings.
Arrives on campus as a recent graduate of El Camino High School in Oceanside...named his team’s Pitcher of the Year as a senior...earned Honorable Mention All-Avocado League accolades as a junior...twin brother of Sonoma State pitcher Jon Richards.
