Comes to Sonoma State from GateWay Community College in Phoenix...batted .333 for the Geckos and following the 2009 season was drafted in the 16th round by the Seattle Mariners... this spring he was named the No. 6 NCAA Division II prospect in the nation by PGCrosschecker.com...was also named the No. 2 prospect in the New York Collegiate Baseball League...played at Arizona State as a freshman, helping guide the Sun Devils to a Pac 10 Championship...played under former SSU player and coach Eric Borba at De La Salle High School...also a football star, he helped his teams win two NCS Championships in football and one in baseball...a Rawlings Pre-Season All-American as a senior at De La Salle.
