Natalie Wisdom begins her first season as an assistant coach for the SSU men's basketball program in 2014-15. A 2012 graduate of Sonoma State University, Natalie spent the past four seasons as an assistant coach for the Santa Rosa JC women's basketball squad under another SSU alum, Lacey Campbell.
A native of nearby Santa Rosa, Calif., Natalie graduated from Rincon Valley Christian HS in 2007 where she lettered in three sports -- basketball, soccer and cross country. She enrolled at SRJC to play basketball, but redshirted the 2007-08 season due to injury. Natalie suited up in the Bear Cubs uniform for the next two seasons (2008-10), serving as a team captain and twice earning Academic All-Big 8 Conference honors while helping to lead SRJC to a State Tournament Final Four appearance in 2009-10.
Upon earning her Associate Degree at Santa Rosa JC in 2010, Natalie transferred to Sonoma State and graduated in December 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies. During her time at -- and since graduating from -- SSU, she has been an assistant coach at SRJC helping lead the Bear Cubs to four straight CCCAA Elite Eight appearances, including one State Championship (2010-11).
