HIGH SCHOOL/COLLEGE: Transfers to Sonoma State from Chabot College in Hayward...graduated from Encinal High School in Alameda...was an All-League selection at Encinal...broke school and league records for blocked shots...also played volleyball.
PERSONAL: Decided on Sonoma State because it was close to home...would like to become a coach or athletic trainer following graduation...is a fan of the Oakland Raiders...once blocked 16 shots in a high school game...looks forward to play against Chico State...is the second tallest student-athlete in school history; tied with Pat Ingham (1997-99) at 6'11", behind only teammate Andy Shannon.
